You are not limited to a single in-house function menu. Discuss food from your preferred restaurants across Boat Quay and have the catering arrangements agreed for your private event.
Food and beverage service through BQ Bar downstairs remains part of the offer. For outside catering, availability, suitability and how the food will be ordered, delivered and served are confirmed in advance.
Please raise dietary requirements and any restaurant preferences with Jenna. Any coordination fees and service terms need to be agreed before confirmation.

Discuss availability, an appropriate layout, catering choices, drinks, service arrangements and pricing directly with Jenna and the venue team.
03 / YOUR CONFIRMATION
Make it an occasion.
Confirm the agreed scope and booking terms with the team. An enquiry alone does not reserve the room or guarantee a date.
Capacity, facilities, access, hours, balcony use and any live entertainment are confirmed before booking. Ask the team for event pricing and any specific New Year’s Eve arrangements.
Can we request exclusive use of the venue?
Tell the team which areas and hours you would like to reserve. Ask for the scope of exclusive use, setup and finish times, shared arrival areas and staff or service access to be set out in your proposal. Confirm whether other guests may enter the booked areas before you agree the booking.
How can we plan guest arrivals for a private function?
Discuss who will welcome your guests and any guest-list or admission requirements with the team. The arrival process and any additional staffing must be agreed for your event. There is no need to put a full guest list into the website enquiry builder.
Can we request no photography or social-media posting?
Raise any no-photography, filming or social-media preferences before booking. Agree the arrangements with the venue team and any suppliers, and tell your guests what you expect. A request is not treated as confirmed until the relevant arrangements have been agreed.
What should we discuss about safety, access or additional security?
Share any specific requirements at the enquiry stage. Confirm a suitable guest count and layout, the Level 3 arrival and access arrangements, and any proposed balcony use. Additional security or staffing requests need assessment and separate confirmation; they are not assumed to be included in standard hire.
Can I visit without a private booking?
Private bookings by prior arrangement. Open to the public on Friday and Saturday nights, subject to private bookings and events. Please call or WhatsApp before visiting.
Where is IF YOU KNOW?
IF YOU KNOW (IYK) is at Level 3, 39 Boat Quay, above BQ Bar in Singapore. Contact Jenna to discuss a venue visit and the arrival arrangements for your event.
What kinds of functions can we discuss?
Corporate Christmas parties, year-end celebrations, New Year functions, team gatherings, client entertaining and private celebrations. Share your preferred date, estimated guest numbers and type of event.
Can we bring food from Boat Quay restaurants?
You can discuss catering from your preferred restaurants across Boat Quay. Availability, suitability and service arrangements must be agreed in advance. No restaurant is implied to be a formal partner, and not every request can be assumed available.
How are outside catering and dietary requirements handled?
Tell Jenna your restaurant preferences and any dietary requirements at the enquiry stage. Who orders, delivers and serves the food, and any coordination charges, need to be agreed before your event is confirmed.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Please share your estimated guest count. The team will confirm an appropriate layout and capacity before booking. Seated and standing arrangements are agreed for your event.
What are the hire prices and inclusions?
Ask the team for a proposal based on your date, guest count and event requirements. Pricing, food and drink inclusions, any coordination fees, taxes, service charges and booking terms are confirmed in the proposal; no package prices are published here.
Can we arrange live music or a vinyl session?
Tell the team what you have in mind. Any performer, vinyl selector, equipment, timing or entertainment arrangement must be discussed and confirmed for your event. Please discuss any equipment or entertainment requirements before confirming your booking.
What should we know about access and the balcony?
The venue is on Level 3 and the supplied photographs show the stairs. Please discuss access needs and any proposed balcony use with Jenna before booking so the facilities, suitability and arrangements can be confirmed.
Does an enquiry confirm our date?
No. The enquiry builder prepares a brief. It does not reserve a date, take payment or confirm a booking. Availability and the agreed event arrangements need confirmation from the team.
