SINGAPORE, 27 October 2026 — Tadcaster is proud to add IF YOU KNOW (IYK) to its family of venues around the world. Located at Level 3, 39 Boat Quay, above BQ Bar, the private function space brings a new way to host corporate Christmas parties, year-end celebrations, New Year functions and personal occasions in Singapore.
The concept is simple: your ultimate lounge room, with Boat Quay on the menu.
Tucked away upstairs in the Singapore River precinct, IYK combines deep-green walls, cream lounge seating, timber tables, leather chairs, greenery and warm lighting. The setting is designed to feel more like a private invitation than a conventional function room, giving hosts somewhere comfortable to bring colleagues, clients, friends and family together.
As the latest addition to Tadcaster’s international venue portfolio, IYK brings a distinctive private-event offering to Boat Quay. Its focus is on personal occasions, flexible food choices and a room with an atmosphere of its own.
A personal setting for hosts who value privacy
IYK is intended for hosts who want the comfort of a private lounge and an occasion that feels like their own. The emphasis is on bringing colleagues, clients, friends or family together in a personal setting, with food and music planned around the group.
Organisers who value privacy are encouraged to discuss reserved areas and hours, guest arrivals, staff access, photography and any additional security needs before booking. The team will confirm what can be accommodated in the event proposal, including the scope of any exclusive use and any additional arrangements or charges.
A private lounge, with Boat Quay on the menu
Rather than restricting every event to one in-house function menu, IYK invites organisers to discuss catering from their preferred restaurants across Boat Quay, alongside food and beverage service coordinated through BQ Bar downstairs.
Hosts can build the catering conversation around what their guests enjoy, from a favourite restaurant to an occasion centred on shared food. Restaurant availability, suitability, dietary requirements, ordering, delivery, service and any coordination charges are agreed in advance.
The approach gives organisers the opportunity to bring their food choices into one private space, without asking their guests to move between venues.
Christmas, year-end and New Year gatherings
IYK is welcoming enquiries for Christmas 2026 parties, end-of-year functions and New Year 2027 gatherings. The venue also offers a setting for client entertainment, team celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries and other private occasions.
The combination of lounge seating and tables provides different starting points for a gathering. Organisers can discuss a food-led evening, a relaxed social reception or an occasion that makes time for both shared food and conversation. Guest capacity, layout and service are confirmed for each event.
For brand gatherings, hosted tastings or product introductions, the team can assess the proposed format, branding, outside suppliers and any technical requirements before confirming arrangements.
An occasion shaped around the people in the room
Music forms part of the planning conversation, whether the request is for background music, an acoustic performance or a vinyl-led evening. Performers, equipment, timing and sound arrangements are confirmed separately for the event.
Hosts are encouraged to share their preferred date, estimated guest numbers, budget and the atmosphere they want to create. The IYK team then discusses availability, catering, drinks, service and booking terms. Access requirements and any proposed balcony use should be raised at the enquiry stage.
Private bookings are arranged in advance. IYK also opens to the public on Friday and Saturday nights, subject to private bookings and events; guests should call or WhatsApp before visiting. Specific New Year’s Eve arrangements are confirmed separately.
